Lille OSC’s squad has been picked apart this summer. The likes of Jonathan David, Angel Gomes, Lucas Chevalier, Bafodé Diakité, Gabriel Gudmundsson, and Rémy Cabella have all left the club, including three who have left on free transfers.

However, with transfer deadline day looming, Lille have put their foot down and have taken a hardline stance that no more key players will be sold. Alexsandro and Ngal’ayel Mukau were both notably attracting interest, however, Olivier Létang said that neither was for sale, unless there was an unlikely €70m bid.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo (20) also falls into the category of untransferable, it would seem. According to a report from Sacha Tables, Villarreal made an approach to sign the forward, who burst onto the scene last season and who is set to play a prominent role in the current campaign.

The La Liga side’s approach was quickly rejected by LOSC, who have made it clear that Fernandez-Pardo will not be leaving the club this summer.
