Create brown rice casserole to weight loss

Ingredients to make brown rice
- Brown Rice – 1 Cup
- Onion – 1
- Tomatoes – 1
- Mix vegetables
- Green Chilli-1-2
- Cumin – 1 teaspoon
- Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Oil – 1 tbsp
Method
- To make casserole, first wash the brown rice and soak it in water for 2 hours, so that it cooks quickly.
- Now heat oil in pressure cooker or pan. Add cumin seeds to it, then add chopped onion and fry till it becomes light brown.
- After this add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Fry till the fragrance comes.
- Now add tomatoes and let it soft. Then add turmeric, coriander powder and salt as per taste and fry the masala.
- Now add mix vegetables and fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add soaked brown rice to the mixture and mix well.
- Add 2 cups of water to the casserole and cook for 2-3 whistles with a lid. Keep in mind that cooking time also falls on the quantity of your rice.
- Finally turn off the gas and let the pressure come out. Then open the lid and cool the casserole and serve with a sauce or raita.
Make brown rice khichdi for weight loss

Ingredients to make brown rice khichdi
- Brown Rice – 1 Cup
- Moong Dal – 1 Cup
- Mix vegetables
- Cumin – 1 teaspoon
- Asafoetida – a pinch
- Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
- Ginger – 1 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
Method
- To make khichdi, wash the brown rice and moong dal thoroughly and soak it for 2 hours.
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin and asafoetida to it. Then add ginger and fry for a while.
- Now add mix vegetables in ghee and fry for 2 minutes. Then add turmeric and salt.
- Now add brown rice and moong dal and mix well. Add 3 cups of water and close the lid of the cooker.
- Cook on the middle flame for 3-4 whistles. Then turn off the gas after the time is complete.
- When the cooker cools for a while, open the lid and mix the khichdi well.
- If you want, you can apply ghee and cumin seeds in khichdi. This increases the taste of food.
- Eat pickles or chutney with khichdi. Or you can also take yogurt because it does not increase weight.
