Rajkummar Raos massy action thriller Maalik has finally hit the big screens. The movie was released on July 11 and so far has had a modest start at the box office. According to the producers the film has collected Rs 4.02 crore nett on its opening day in India (NBOC). Rajkummars film is garnering all the rave reviews from the audience. And with strong word of mouth it is expected that the movie will gain momentum over the weekend.

On the other hand early reports as per industry tracker Sacnilk indicated that Maalik has collected Rs 3.2 crore on Day 2. With this the total of the film reaches Rs 6.95 crore. Rajkummar Raos movie witnessed an overall 14.16% Hindi occupancy on Saturday.
Maaliks Box Office Performance
Though Maalik did not earn as expected on Day 1 it outperformed Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor’s romantic drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. Vikrants movie earned only Rs 32 lakh at the box office.
