In a shocking incident Kannada actress and anchor Manjula Shruthi was stabbed by her husband over suspicion of infidelity. Shruthi who was known for her roles in serials like Amruthadhaare was brutally attacked on July 4 2025. The incident took place at Muneshwara Layout under the jurisdiction of Hanumanthnagar police station.
Who is Manjula Shruthis Husband?
Manjula was married to Amresh 20 years ago. The two were together and in love. Following that they decided to take a step ahead in their relationship. However Amresh had reportedly grown disapproving of Shruthi’s behavior leading to increasing tension in their relationship.

Following this Shruthi got separated from him and moved in with her brother. Often Shruthi had heated arguments with her estranged husband over house lease money. This forced the actress to file an FIR.

Despite this the couple reconciled last Thursday.

Shockingly the very next day after their kids left for college Amresh alleged stabbed his wife. At first he used pepper spray on her and the multiple times stabbed him in different parts of the body inclduing ribs thigh and neck. As per reports Amresh slammed her head against the wall.
Manjula Shruthis Condition Critical?
Shruthi is undergoing treatment at Victoria Hospital. A case has been filed against her husband Amresh and he has been arrested.
