Akshay Kumar turned her luck around
In 2019 Kriti starred in the comedy Housefull 4 a film that turned out to be a major box-office success. With an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar Riteish Deshmukh Bobby Deol Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde the film crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide. While the spotlight remained mostly on the leading men and the franchise brand Kriti finally had a hit attached to her name.
Though her performance didn’t receive much individual attention Housefull 4 gave her career a much-needed push. It helped her gain visibility among mainstream audiences and reminded the industry of her versatility.
