As many as eight Chelsea players will have the chance to work closely with Liam Rosenior during the international break.

Over the next two weeks, those who have struggled to stay fit will have the luxury of recharging their batteries; meanwhile, those who have struggled to establish themselves in the starting lineup will have the opportunity to impress the Blues boss.

Ultimately, recovery and preparation will be at the top of the agenda at Cobham as Chelsea gear up for the end-of-season run-in. The west Londoners have had a tough couple of weeks, crashing out of the Champions League and falling behind in the race for a place in the top four of the Premier League.

Following the clash against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Chelsea won't be in action again until April 4 when they host Port Vale in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Rosenior will be determined to make the most of the time on the training pitches to ensure the Blues hit the ground running.

So, with that being said, football.london has listed every Chelsea player that is – and isn't – set to be away on international duty this month.

Eleven Chelsea players called up for international duty

As many as 11 first-team Chelsea players are currently set to report for international duty this month. Cole Palmer has been called up to the England squad, but fortunately Thomas Tuchel plans to 'split' his 35-man roster in order to offer players a much-needed break.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, the Three Lions boss confirmed his plan for the international break. Tuchel said: "I think we need clarity around every position. I think it will be very unlikely that we bring three, four, five players for one position into camp or into the World Cup.

"I think this will just confuse everyone. Of course, if you have the choice between world-class players in the number 10 position, at some point we will have to make tough calls, but now it's it's about camp.

"In the first part of the camp it's Cole Palmer and Phil Foden. In the second part of the camp, it will be then Jude [Bellingham], Morgan [Rogers] and [Eberechi] Eze, who is always in the mix for any for any position in the No 10 and on the wing.

"The competition is on, but we will also share it in bites that we have two players for one game competing. Then it's on the players to show their quality. Then it's on me to take a decision."

Meanwhile, Didier Deschamps has named Malo Gusto in the France. Andrey Santos and Joao Pedro have been called up by Carlo Ancelotti, and Luis de la Fuente has given Marc Cucurella the nod.

Jorrel Hato will also be jetting off next week to represent the Netherlands. Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo have been named in the Argentina and Ecuador squads, respectively, while Pedro Neto has earned a call-up to the Portugal squad.

Josh Acheampong has been named in the England Under-21s squad by Lee Carsley, and Gabriel Slonina, who sometimes features on the bench, has been called up by the United States Under-21s.

Nine Chelsea players set for extra training at Cobham

As it stands, nine fit and healthy Chelsea players will not report for international duty this month. Robert Sanchez was snubbed by Spain, as were Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile by France.

Estevao Willian has only recently returned to first-team training after more than a month out with a hamstring injury, so he was left out of the Brazil squad. Despite some good performances lately, Alejandro Garnacho was overlooked by Lionel Scaloni as Argentina plots their defence of the World Cup.

Although Romeo Lavia hasn't played much for Chelsea since he made his return to action after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, he, too, has played well. But a handful of impressive cameos was not enough to land a place in the Belgium squad.

Liam Delap didn't do enough to earn a place in the England squad, and Marc Guiu was snubbed the Spain Under-21s. Tosin Adarabioyo, who featured for the Three Lions youth teams growing up, has never pledged his senior international allegiance.
