Captain Ishan Kishan fought single-handedly for Hyderabad. He scored 80 runs in 38 balls and took the team beyond 200. Aniket Verma also made a good contribution of 43 runs. RCB bowler Jacob Duffy's deadly bowling broke the back of Hyderabad by dismissing Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma in the powerplay itself. But Hyderabad's bowling looked very weak. In the absence of Pat Cummins, they did not have any bowler who could control the Bengaluru batsmen.
After this match, SRH captain Ishan Kishan said, 'We lost wickets in the first 4 overs, the bowlers were getting help there. Later the pitch became easy for batting. We have to be smarter in choosing our shots. Virat bhai and his team played very well. Meanwhile, RCB star Virat Kohli said, 'It feels great to be back on the field. I have worked a lot on my fitness. Taking a break from cricket was very helpful for me, now I am completely fresh and ready to give my 120% to the team.
