Neeraj Chopra Harassment Allegations: India has made a big mark in athletics in recent years, especially through javelin throw, in which Neeraj Chopra has played an important role. Along with him, Sumit Antil made this sport more popular in the country by winning two consecutive gold medals in the Paralympics.

But now these two star players have created a stir in the sports world by making serious allegations against an Indian javelin coach. Neeraj Chopra, Sumit Antil and some other players have accused coach Naval Singh of mental harassment and use of abusive language.

Accused of abusing players

According to a report, these players have submitted a written complaint to the Sports Authority of India (SAI). It is alleged that Naval Singh sends abusive voice messages to the players while under the influence of alcohol. The complaint also states that he uses objectionable language towards the players as well as their families.

Sumit Antil complained

The main complainant in this case is Sumit Antil, who had earlier also raised this issue with SAI and Paralympic Committee of India. But when no action was taken, he lodged a formal written complaint on April 10. Sumit said that he wanted to stay away from controversy, but due to repeated incidents he had to take this step.

Neeraj Chopra has also supported Sumit’s allegations and demanded strict action against the coach. He said that such language and behavior is not only inappropriate but also extremely shameful and unprofessional. He also said that this kind of attitude towards players and their families is against the spirit of sports and etiquette.
