LPG Cylinders for Weddings: The period of *Kharmas* concluded on April 14th, marking the commencement of weddings and other auspicious ceremonies. There are 28 auspicious dates (*muhurats*) for weddings scheduled between April 19th and July 13th. In Delhi alone, approximately 300,000 weddings are expected to take place during this period. The wedding season officially kicks off on April 19th, coinciding with *Akshaya Tritiya*. This season, an estimated 3.5 million weddings are expected across the country; however, amidst the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, issues regarding LPG gas supply have begun to emerge. While some areas are experiencing delays in receiving gas cylinders, others are reporting outright shortages. Consequently, anxiety regarding the availability of gas cylinders has heightened significantly in households preparing for a wedding.
If you, too, have a wedding coming up in your home and are feeling anxious about securing an LPG cylinder, there is no need to worry. In fact, gas agencies have implemented special arrangements to ensure the supply of gas cylinders to households hosting weddings. Under this special provision, you can easily procure 5 to 7 gas cylinders. Let us explain exactly what steps you need to take to obtain gas cylinders for a wedding and how many cylinders you can receive at one time.

You must visit your nearest gas dealer and submit the wedding invitation card.
You may be required to pay a security deposit of approximately ₹2,200 to ₹2,500 per cylinder.
