In 2019, Pradeep Kannan, an experienced technology professional working in Bengaluru, made a bold and unconventional decision to walk away from a secure and well-established corporate career. He had been serving as the operations head at a major multinational company, a position that offered stability and prestige. Despite this, he chose to leave behind that structured environment and relocate to Karur in Tamil Nadu, driven by a desire to build something of his own.

The journey that followed was far from glamorous or immediately rewarding. As per a Humans Of Bombay report, instead of quick success, his new beginning took shape as a modest 10×10 ice cream and falooda outlet. The venture demanded persistence, patience, and an unwavering commitment to showing up and putting in the work every single day. In the early stages, his decision puzzled many around him. Friends, acquaintances, and even observers struggled to understand why someone would trade a high-ranking corporate role for such a small-scale business. This lack of understanding often translated into criticism and ridicule.

Rather than allowing the negativity to deter him, Pradeep remained focused on his vision. He invested long hours experimenting with flavors, carefully refining taste profiles, and ensuring consistency in every product. Over time, he worked on creating standardized recipes that could be replicated reliably, laying the foundation for scalability. His approach combined creativity with discipline, gradually transforming the tiny outlet into something much more significant.


Years of consistent effort eventually began to bear fruit. What started as a single small shop evolved into a rapidly expanding enterprise. The brand now operates more than 18 outlets spread across various locations in India as well as Dubai. In addition to its physical presence, the business has also developed a strong direct-to-consumer segment, further strengthening its growth trajectory. Today, the venture is valued at approximately ₹9 crore, marking a remarkable transformation from its humble beginnings.

According to his professional background, Pradeep is an alumnus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology. His journey reflects a shift from the structured world of corporate operations to the unpredictable yet rewarding path of entrepreneurship, demonstrating how persistence and clarity of purpose can turn a small idea into a thriving brand.
