The mere mention of summer invariably brings back memories of those icy popsicles—or *chuskis*—we used to enjoy outside our schools during childhood, along with their tangy, zesty flavor.

How would you like to recreate that very taste of childhood right at home... using just three ingredients already present in your kitchen?

Yes, indeed! Today, we bring you an incredibly simple and delightful recipe for a 'Sweet and Tangy Mango Popsicle'—a treat that is sure to be a hit with both you and your children.

**What do you need to make Mango Popsicles?**
To prepare this delicious treat, there is no need to go out and buy any expensive ingredients from the market.

**Mangoes:** 2 large-sized (preferably the sweet-and-sour variety)
**Sugar:** 1 cup (for sweetness; you may also use powdered rock sugar or jaggery if you prefer)
**Black Salt:** 1 teaspoon (to achieve that authentic, zesty flavor)
*(Note: If you happen to have some fresh mint leaves at home, do add them as well; they will double both the flavor and the refreshing quality of the popsicles.)*

**The Super-Simple Method for Making Mango Popsicles**
First, thoroughly wash both mangoes under running water. Ensure that the mangoes are slightly unripe (firm).

Place them in a pot or pressure cooker, add a little water, and boil them until they become soft and tender. Once the mangoes are cooked, turn off the heat and set them aside to cool down completely.
Once the mangoes have cooled, gently peel off their skin. Now, using your hands or a spoon, scoop out all the soft pulp into a bowl and discard the pits.

Next, take a blender jar. Add the extracted mango pulp, the cup of sugar, and the pinch of black salt into it. (If you are adding mint leaves, add them at this stage as well.)

Now, blend everything together thoroughly until smooth. If the resulting paste feels too thick, you may add half to one cup of water to achieve the perfect consistency for your popsicle mixture.

And just like that, your sweet, tangy, and zesty mango mixture is ready to go! Fill the ice cream molds with this mixture. If you do not have molds, you can also use small steel glasses or paper tea cups available at home. Cover the tops with aluminum foil and insert an ice cream stick through the center.

Now, place these molds in the freezer for 6 to 8 hours, or leave them overnight to set. When you take them out the next day, your chilled, sweet-and-sour, and tangy mango popsicles will be ready to enjoy.

During this scorching heat, instead of eating ice cream with artificial colors from outside, indulge in these delicious and wholesome homemade popsicles. Believe me, the moment you take a bite, your day's fatigue will melt away, and a broad, childlike smile will light up your face.
