Akhilesh Yadav showed strictness

After the controversy escalated, SP President Akhilesh Yadav had summoned five prominent leaders of Moradabad in Lucknow. In the meeting, separate talks were held with Kamal Akhtar, MP Ruchi Veera and other leaders. Akhilesh Yadav gave a clear message to everyone that personal differences should not be brought to the public platform and unity of the organization should be the top priority. He had instructed the leaders to end mutual disputes and work together and not let the wrong message go among the workers.

The unrest did not stop even after reconciliation

After the meeting, it was believed that the controversy had been completely calmed down, but now Kamal Akhtar’s resignation from the post of Chief Whip has given rise to new speculations. Political experts are linking this to the ongoing internal dissatisfaction in the Moradabad unit, while there has been no formal response from the party yet.

Got a big responsibility in 2024

It is noteworthy that after Manoj Kumar Pandey left the post of Chief Whip in July 2024, Samajwadi Party had handed over the responsibility of Chief Whip in the Assembly to Kamal Akhtar. Now his resignation has intensified the discussions regarding new political equations within the party.
