Sunita Ahuja was recently papped visiting a family court in the wake of her troubled marriage with husband of 39 years Govinda just days after she made “sugar daddy” claims against him.
On Wednesday, August 19, the 59-year-old media personality was spotted outside Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court with her son Yashvardhan Ahuja and advocate.
As she made her way out of the venue surrounded by paparazzi, Sunita declined to reveal why they had visited.
Rather than answering the questions directly, she jokingly told the photographers before getting into the car: “Birthday manane aaye hai (I came to celebrate birthday).”
The purpose of the family court visit has yet to be disclosed, though fans are speculating that it could involve divorce proceedings.
“It’s good that she is finally taking stand for herself,” one wrote on Instagram.
The visit comes on the heels of Sunita speaking candidly about her marriage to Govinda and making allegations about his personal life, including claims of extramarital affairs.
She publicly addressed her husband’s alleged affair with Komal Rani Swarnkar. The remarks followed the actor’s recent sighting with his co-star at Mumbai airport, where his wife took a dig at him by referring to him as a “sugar daddy.”
“The picture must be made first (laughs). Promotions occur after a film is made. But without promotions…now what can I say? He’s roaming with a girl his daughter’s age; he should be ashamed. He must have a standard. Your sugar daddy is so rich; at least dress properly. Look at us dressed so stylishly. Very bad, he’s lost his mind,” Sunita said.
Govinda also didn’t miss a chance as he hit back at her remarks, telling paparazzi that she should stay within her limits and accusing her of using abusive language against him.
