There is resentment among the villagers due to incomplete road construction work in Ward No. 7 of Kalachhada Tea Garden under Chargola GP of Ramakrishnanagar assembly constituency of Shribhoomi district. The villagers have alleged that information boards have not been installed at the construction site and have demanded that information about the project be made public.

According to local people, road construction was started near the Durga temple, but the work was stopped before connecting to the main road, leaving about 40–50 meters of the stretch incomplete. Due to this, the road prepared has not been directly connected to the main road and the villagers are not getting its full benefits.

The villagers have also demanded an investigation into the planning and survey of the construction work. His question is why the part up to the main road was not already included in the project. Apart from this, the villagers have also raised questions on the quality of material used in the installation of ring over the drain at the mouth of the road and the construction of guides on both sides.

He has asked the concerned department to inspect the site and investigate whether the construction has been done as per the technical standards or not. Local residents have drawn the attention of Ramakrishnanagar MLA Vijay Malakar and requested for the construction of the incomplete 40-50 meter portion to be completed soon. Villagers say that with the completion of the road, students, patients, people working in gardens and common citizens including common citizens will get a lot of transportation facilities.
